2008/03 Tender Opportunity for a Childhood Obesity Service
NHS Sheffield is pleased to announce the launch of a new community-based citywide childhood obesity treatment programme called Sheffield Watch-It. The programme will be provided by Zest, a community organisation based at Upperthorpe.
The new programme is for overweight and obese children aged 7-14 and their families living in Sheffield. The service will provide one-to-one and group sessions in a relaxed and supportive environment and will focus on improving nutrition, increasing physical activity and addressing emotional health and wellbeing. Sheffield Watch-It will be provided in community venues across the city.
