Consultation on the Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (LDD) Strategy

This consultation closed on 17 April 2009.

The role of the LDD Strategic Partnership Group is to bring together local partners to develop, deliver and review a LDD strategy.  The purpose of the strategy is to ensure improved outcomes for children and young people with learning difficulties and disabilities.

In order to improve outcomes for children and young people with learning difficulties and disabilities in Sheffield it is essential to develop a vision of what we would want to achieve.

It is vital that all local partners contribute to the development of this.  Your views are very important in shaping the vision and strategic direction for Sheffield.

The main focus of the draft LDD Strategy is to encourage all local partners working with children and young people with learning difficulties and disabilities to have shared aims.  These aims will facilitate improved service delivery.

As part of this process the LDD Strategic Partnership Group have developed a draft LDD strategy that they would very much like your views on.

How can I see a copy of the draft LDD strategy?
