LIFT consultations
These consultations have now closed.
Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) (a public private sector partnership) was set up to improve and develop local primary and community health and social care facilities. The LIFT Company (Community First) will work together with NHS Sheffield to update and modernise our current primary and community estate, providing new and refurbished premises that are more suitable to deliver 21st century care.
Improved choice and access to services is a key constituent of LIFT, ensuring people are treated quickly and conveniently. This will result in better health outcomes. The LIFT programme will deliver an unprecedented level of investment in the primary care infrastructure - new surgeries, clinics, health centres and joint health and social care buildings.
The planned developments are in Bluebell, Darnall, Foxhill and Norfolk Park.

The formal consultation ends on 30th November 2009, but any comments received in December will also be taken into account.
