Local Area Agreements (LAAs) are three-year agreements between a local area, represented by the local authority and key partners through the Local Strategic Partnerships and the Government setting out the key priorities and improvement targets for local authority areas.

 Our LAA, called the Sheffield First Agreement will be a key mechanism for delivering the priorities set out in the Sheffield City Strategy over the next three years.

Sheffield First for Health and Well-being Partnership

The Health and Well being partnership provides the lead in overseeing health issues of city-wide importance, including improving health and reducing health inequalities across the city.

Sheffield Health Compact

The Sheffield Health Compact is an agreement between the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) and the 4 NHS Trusts in Sheffield.  Its aims to build a strong and effective partnership between the VCF and NHS sectors in Sheffield.

Children and Young People's 0-19 Partnership (Sheffield's Children's Trust)

The 0-19 Partnership covers all services to children and young people aged 0-19 (and beyond 19 for looked after children, those with one or more disabilities or special educational need). The Partnership aims to help to achieve the 5 Every Child Matters outcomes for children and young people:

  • Being Healthy
  • Staying Safe
  • Enjoy and Achieve
  • Make a Positive Contribution
  • Achieve Economic Well Being
